As of 2026: AI in Everyday Life and Ethical Considerations
As of 2026, AI has fully integrated into industries like healthcare,
coding and logistics, reflecting the progress made through
2025. AI tools like ambient scribes reduced documentation
time, autonomous diagnostic agents interpreted brain scans
in seconds and agentic AI systems independently debugged
code and audited financial records. The rise of autonomous
systems, such as self-driving vehicles and supply chain AI,
transformed logistics. This rapid growth was balanced by the
enforcement of the EU AI Act and global safety standards to
ensure privacy, job security and ethical use of AI.

                 AI APPLICATIONS IN DAILY LIFE

There are various applications that are used in our daily lives. Here are a few examples:
Online Shopping: AI is revolutionising online shopping by providing
personalised experiences, improving customer service and optimising
operations. Through AI-powered recommendation systems, platforms
like Amazon suggest products based on user behaviour, preferences
and purchase history, which enhances customer satisfaction and
boosts sales. AI chatbots also support customers by addressing
inquiries and guiding users through the shopping process.

For instance, eBay uses AI to suggest similar items when a product is out
of stock, ensuring a seamless user experience and maintaining customer
interest. Additionally, AI helps retailers optimise pricing, manage
inventory and forecast demand, making operations more efficient.

Search Engines: AI is used by web Search Engines to
recommend correct and relevant results to customers.
AI also gains revenue for the search by showing
sponsored products based on Customer Preference,
Search History, Gender, Age, Places Visited, etc., which
increases the click ratio for the sponsored link. Search
engines also allow audio and image search, which is
purely AI-based, as it searches through similar audio
patterns and images all over the web and gets the most
                                                                relevant information for the user.

Chatbots: A chatbot is an AI application that simulates
human conversation using text or voice to respond
to user queries. Chatbots are becoming increasingly
popular, with 80% of businesses using them to offer
24/7 customer support. These AI tools simulate
conversations with users, either through text or voice
and instantly respond to queries, helping manage
                   customer interactions efficiently.
