Multimedia Software
Multimedia Software are used to combine the text with graphics, videos, animations and sounds.
Therefore, it is called multimedia software. Some commonly used multimedia software are
Windows Media Player, Windows Movie Maker, Picasa, Inkspace, Media Monkey, etc.

Customised software are those which have been developed according to the needs of a particular
organisation or an individual. Such software is also called tailor-made software. For example
Banking software, Delivery software, Shopping software, etc.
MEMORY
The storage space in a computer is called memory. The data and instructions that are entered
into the computer using input devices are stored inside the memory. There are two types of
memory: Primary memory and Secondary memory.

Primary Memory
This is the main memory of a computer. CPU can directly access this memory. It is fixed on the
motherboard of a computer. Primary memory is further divided into two types:
1. Random Access Memory (RAM)
2. Read-only Memory (ROM)
