UNDERSTANDING CELL RANGE

In Google Sheets, a group of selected cells is called a range. To create a range, the selected cells
should be next to each other. When you select a range in a worksheet, it will form a rectangular
shape. You can use a cell range to perform calculations on multiple cells at once. The address of a
range is written by combining the starting cell address and the ending cell address, separated by
a colon (:). For example, if you select cells from B2 to E3, the range address will be B2:E3.

                      Selecting Range in a Worksheet
