Google Sheets is a versatile tool that allows you to manage, analyse and visualise data effectively.
In this chapter, you will learn how to sort and filter data, create informative charts and apply detailed
formatting to charts to enhance your presentations and make data tasks more efficient.
SORTING DATA
Sorting data in Google Sheets refers to organising your data in a specific order, either ascending
(A-Z or smallest to largest) or descending (Z-A or largest to smallest). This helps to arrange data in a
logical sequence, making it easier to analyse and find information.
For example, you can sort a list of names alphabetically or sort numbers from the highest to lowest
value. Google Sheets allows sorting by one or multiple columns at a time, enabling more complex data
arrangements.
