The Internet can help children in learning, but it’s better to be used only for a good cause.

Some of the disadvantages of Internet for children are: Let's play outside.
It distracts us from our studies.

It wastes our time and makes us lazy.
It causes health issues and obesity.

It affects our eyes.
It makes you feel disconnected from the real world.

The Internet is a network of many computers across the world.
Website is a collection of related web pages that provide information about a topic.

Web page is a page on a website.
World Wide Web (WWW) is the largest collection of information in the form of websites on
the Internet.
Web browsers are used to open websites.

Home page is the first page that opens up when you browse any website.
Getting the data from another computer (server) to the our computer (user) is known as
downloading.
Copying the data from the our computer (user) to someone else's computer (server) is
known as uploading.

Hyperlink is the text or image that is underlined and highlighted in blue, which on clicking
takes you to another page, document or image.
The address of a website is called Uniform Resource Locator or URL.
