Now, answer the following questions:

                   1. Create a system map to understand how different factors contribute to traffic
                       congestion.

                   2. Identify solutions such as improved public transport and urban planning to reduce
                       congestion.

Using AI as Leverage in a Systems Map

Leverage refers to a point in a system where small actions or changes can lead to big effects.

Think of it like having a lever: a small push at the right place can move a large object. The
power we have to make a change depends on how well we understand the system and the
skills we use to influence it.
For example, as young people, we may not have the power to directly fix large, global problems

like war, climate change, or economic inequality. These are massive issues that require the
involvement of governments, global organisations, and significant resources. However, this
doesn’t mean we are powerless. Even if we can’t tackle these problems head-on, we can still
                 make a difference.

One way to have an impact is by using Artificial Intelligence (AI). With the right AI skills, we can
influence decisions in many areas. AI, especially when used to predict outcomes or analyse large
amounts of data, can help those in charge make smarter, more informed decisions.

How AI Can Be Used as Leverage?

The following points describes how AI can be used as leverage:
                    • AI for predicting environmental changes: We can use AI to study environmental trends,

such as climate patterns or pollution levels. By predicting how things like carbon emissions
will affect the planet, we can help people make early decisions to protect the environment.
