Blocks Function
Stop all sounds block stops all currently playing sounds
immediately. Useful for stopping background music
when switching scenes.
Change () effect by () block modifies a sound effect (like
pitch or pan) by a given value. Helps create dynamic
sound variations.
set () effect to () block sets a specific sound effect
(pitch, pan, etc.) to a fixed value.
clear sound effects block resets all applied sound effects,
returning the sound to its original state.
Change volume by () block increases or decreases the
volume by a specified amount. Useful for fading in or
out sound.
Set volume to () % block sets the volume to a specific
percentage. Helps control the overall loudness of sounds
in the project.
volume block is a reporter block that returns the current
volume level. Useful for adjusting sound dynamically in
scripts.
ADDING SOUNDS TO A SCRATCH PROJECT
Adding sounds to a Scratch project makes it more engaging and interactive.
To add and play sounds in Scratch, follow
these steps:
Step 1 Click on the sprite you want to add
sound to.
Step 2 Click on the Sounds tab.
Step 3 Click on the Choose a Sound
button. Choose any of the following
options:
Choose a Sound to pick a sound
from the Scratch library.
