In the previous class you learnt the basics of Excel such as creating a workbook, entering data and
then saving workbook. In this chapter you are going to learn more about Excel.

              SELECTING CELLS IN A WORKSHEET

Besides entering data into a worksheet, Excel also provides the facility to perform various other
operations with data, such as modifying, inserting, moving, copying, and deleting. To perform all these
operations, we first select the cell containing data. Excel allows us to select a single cell or a group of
              cells.

Single Cell: Click on the cell to select it.
Group of Cells or Range: Click on the first cell you want to
select. Then, hold the mouse button and drag to the last cell
                 you want to include.

We can also select a range of cells by using the Shift key. Click on the first cell, press and hold the
Shift key, then click on the last cell you want to include.
