Components of OpenShot Video Editor

              OpenShot Video Editor window has following components:

                 Menu Bar: It contains File, Edit, Title, View, and Help menus.
                  Main Toolbar: It provides quick access to common functions such as new project, open
                 project, save project, undo, redo, import files, and export video.

                  Function Tabs: It allows to switch between Project Files, Transitions, and Effects.

                  Project Files: It shows all the media files, such as videos, images, and audio, that have been
                 imported into the project. These files can be dragged to the timeline for editing.

                  Preview Window: It displays the video playback while the project is being edited. Users can
                 navigate the video and view changes in real time.

                  Timeline Toolbar: It contains buttons used for snapping, inserting markers, and jumping
                 between markers.
                  Play-head/Ruler: The ruler shows the time-scale, and the red line is the play-head. The

                 play-head represents the current playback position.
                 Timeline: It visualises your video project.

                  Filter: It allows to search an item from project files, transitions, and effects by using these
                 buttons or by entering a few letters of what you are looking for in the given textbox.

                  Playback: It allows to start, rewind, play/pause, fast forward, and jump to end of the video.
                  Track: It allows to layer videos and images. There can be multiple tracks in an OpenShot

                 Video Editor project.

              Importing Media Files

              You need to import the media files (audio/video/image) in OpenShot Video Editor for editing.

              Perform the following steps to import a media file:


                                            Navigate to the location

                                        3   where  the media file  is
                                            saved and select it.
                1   Click on the  File
                    menu.




                    Select the Import
