Body
The body is the middle part of a robot. It
holds all the parts together and keeps the
robot strong. The body also has batteries
or a computer that helps the robot move
and work.
The first industrial robot,
SMART
SPARK called Unimate, was invented
in 1954 by George Devol.
Arms
Robots use arms to pick up and move objects. Some
robotic arms can wave, shake hands or even play.
These arms enable robots to perform tasks such as
holding items, cleaning and assisting people.
Legs or Wheel
Robots move using legs or wheels. These allow them
to travel from one place to another, explore, deliver
things and carry out tasks efficiently.
