Steps:

1 Observe how a battery connects to a bulb and switch.

2 Identify an open circuit (when it does not work) and a closed circuit (when it works).

3 Build a simple circuit on a chart using paper components or classroom kit.

4 Test the circuit by connecting a switch to turn the light on and off.

                  Skills Practiced:
Identifying components: battery, wire, bulb, switch.

Connecting components to form a working circuit.

Predicting when a bulb or motor will work or not.

                  Outcome for Session 2:
A chart or model showing different types of circuits (open, closed, series and parallel).

                  Final Deliverables:

Tick ( ) the box if submitted:

Completed Rodocodo programs showing movement, rotation and pick-up
                     actions.

A chart or model showing different types of circuits (open, closed, series and
                     parallel).
