Sensors (Robot's senses): Sensors are the devices that give a robot the ability
to perceive its environment. They gather data such as light, sound, temperature,
proximity and pressure and convert it into electrical signals that are sent to the
controller. Without sensors, a robot would be unable to interact effectively with the
world.
Actuators (Muscles of the robot): Actuators are the components that produce
motion in the robot, converting energy into physical movement. They can
be powered by electricity, hydraulic fluid or compressed air. Actuators are
responsible for moving the robot's arms, legs, wheels or other parts.
