CyberDog
CyberDog is a four-legged robot designed for high-
speed movement. It can run at speeds of up to 3.2
metres per second, follow the motion of objects and
avoid obstacles while moving.
Manav
Manav is a small humanoid robot developed in
India. It stands about two feet tall with a 3D-printed
body, cameras for eyes and microphones for ears.
Manav can walk, dance, nod and respond to simple
commands. It helps students learn how robots use
sensors, movement and programming.
Rashmi
Rashmi is an AI-powered humanoid robot capable
of engaging in conversation and showing facial
expressions. She can speak several languages,
including English, Hindi and Bhojpuri and can
recognise emotions through voice and facial cues.
Rashmi represents India’s growing progress in
robotics and Artificial Intelligence, demonstrating how innovation can thrive even
with limited resources.
A robot is sent to space, but it breaks down and
can't be brought back. Is it right to send robots to
dangerous places if they might not come back?
ADVANTAGES AND CHALLENGES OF ROBOTS
Robots offer many advantages, such as precision and the ability to work in
dangerous environments. However, they also face challenges like high costs and
limited decision-making skills.
