3D SHAPES IN TINKERCAD
3D shapes are the building blocks used to create models and designs. You can find many shapes
in the Shapes panel. Using these 3D shapes, students can design anything from simple toys to
creative inventions, just like real 3D
designers and engineers.
Some examples of 3D shapes are:
Sphere Cylinder Tube Pyramid
WORKING WITH SHAPES
You can add, resize and modify shapes to create custom 3D designs by using the Shape
Properties panel and various tools available on the Workplane.
Adding Shapes
You can add any shape from the Shapes
panel and customise it according to your
project requirements. Tinkercad allows you
to add Basic Shapes, Letters & Numbers,
Design Starters and more. You can drag
and drop the desired shape from the Shapes
panel onto your workspace.
