Component Image Description
Battery A battery stores energy and releases it to power a circuit.
It changes chemical energy into electrical energy.
Slideswitch A slideswitch controls electricity flow. When closed, it lets
electricity pass through, turning on components. When
open, it stops the flow, turning off connected devices.
Breadboard A breadboard is used to build and test circuits without
the need for soldering. It lets you easily place and change
components to make your circuit work.
Jumper Wires Jumper wires are used to connect different parts of a
circuit, letting electricity flow between them. They are
colour-coded: red for positive and black for negative.
DC Motor A DC motor is a component that converts electrical energy
into mechanical motion. When connected to a power
source, it spins and can be used to move objects or drive
wheels.
Pushbutton A pushbutton is an input device that allows you to control
the flow of electricity through a circuit by either opening
or closing the circuit. It is a simple mechanical switch that,
when pressed, completes the circuit and when released,
breaks the circuit.
