The world of robotics is no longer limited to hardware or physical components. With VEXcode
VR, students can now learn, build and experiment with robots in a fully virtual environment.
It combines the excitement of robotics with the creativity of coding, all inside your web browser.

                  INTRODUCTION TO VEXCODE VR

VEXcode VR is an online coding environment that allows students to program a virtual robot
using block-based or text-based coding. It is part of the VEX Robotics learning platform and can
be accessed directly from any web browser, with no installation required.

The platform helps learners understand robotics, automation and computational thinking by
allowing them to experiment in different virtual playgrounds. From simple movement to complex
navigation, VEXcode VR makes programming both interactive and engaging.

                  EXPLORING THE VEXCODE VR INTERFACE

To start with VEXcode VR, open your web browser, type https://vr.vex.com/ or scan
the QR code in the address bar and press the Enter key. On the welcome screen, click
on the Students Get Started button to begin.
Let’s explore the VEXcode VR interface and its components:

Workspace: The area where you arrange and build your code by dragging blocks into the
                     program’s logic.

Blocks Category: Organises coding blocks into categories like Drivetrain, Events, Looks and
                     Sensing.
Blocks Palette: Contains all coding blocks that can be dragged into the workspace to create
                     your program.
