                     Activity

                   Collecting and Exploring Data!
In this activity, you will learn how to collect, look at and understand data. Data collection means
gathering information from different places, like surveys or online sources. Data exploration
means organising and showing this information in simple ways to find useful details and
patterns. By the end of this activity, you will see how data can help answer questions and tell
                   stories.

First, we will collect data. This could be from a list, a website or by asking people questions.
After collecting the data, we will organise and check it carefully. This means fixing any mistakes,
sorting it and looking for patterns or trends. You will also learn how to make pictures like charts
and graphs that make the data easy to understand.

Doing this will help you learn important skills for making good decisions based on facts. These
skills are useful when working with numbers, words or pictures.

Let’s start and discover how powerful data can be!
                   How to Do the Activity

                     STEP - 1 Collecting Data

Ask every student in the class for this information:

                                    Name Height Weight
                                    Age Address Favourite hobby
