Same Things Can Look Different to Different People
Sometimes, two people may look at the same object but think about it differently.
Let’s understand this with the help of some examples.
Example 1: Imagine two pens that look exactly the same. Both are
used for writing. But one pen has green ink and the other has red
ink. They look the same, but they are different because they use
different ink colours.
Example 2: A school bag may feel heavy to a small
child, but an older child might think it’s light because
they are stronger. The same bag, but it can feel different
depending on who is carrying it.
Example 3: Look at these two shoes. Both are shoes, but
one is for running and the other is for formal occasions.
They look the same but serve different purposes.
Example 4: These are two computers. One is a laptop
and the other is a desktop. The laptop is compact and
easy to move around, while the desktop is larger and
meant to stay in one location, typically on a desk.
Example 5: Here are two watches. One is a smartwatch and
the other is an analog watch. They both tell time, but they are
different in how they show it. The smartwatch shows numbers
on a screen and can also track fitness, send notifications and
perform many other tasks. On the other hand, the analog
watch uses moving hands on a clock face to tell time.
Example 6: Look at the two vacuum cleaners. Both are
used to clean floors, but one is a smart vacuum cleaner
that moves on its own and can be controlled with a
phone, while the other is a regular vacuum cleaner
that requires you to push it. They are the same type of
appliance, but one is automatic and the other is manual.
