Each picture in the graph stands  for a certain number of things, making it easier to
                 understand and compare the data. For example, Akriti asked her friends about their
                 favourite flower. Some said rose, some said tulip and others chose different flowers.

                 To simplify and organise that information, she used a pictograph to represent the
                 data. The pictograph below shows how many of her friends chose each flower:
