It is mainly used to compare different groups or items easily. Bar graphs can be drawn
either vertically or horizontally and they make information simple to understand at

                 a glance.
Let us understand the concept of bar graph with the help of an example.

In a class survey, students were asked about their favourite fruit:

                  Apple: 20 votes

                  Banana: 15 votes

                  Mango: 10 votes

                  Orange: 5 votes

In a bar graph, each fruit is shown as a separate bar. The taller the bar, the more
students like that fruit. This allows us to easily compare how many students prefer

                 each fruit.

                                                                Votes

                     Orange

                      Mango

                     Banana

                       Apple

                             0 5 10 15 20 25
                                                                    Votes

In the given graph, the horizontal line shows the fruits and the vertical line shows the
                 number of votes.

                 Line Graphs

A line graph shows data using points joined by lines. It is used to show changes over
time. Line graphs are great for understanding how data changes continuously, like

                 temperature or stock prices.
