Here are some ways to be responsible online:

                 œ œThink  before you  post:  Once something  is shared online, it  can be seen by
 DIGITAL            anyone, anywhere and often for a long time. Even if you delete it, it may not be
                    completely gone. Before posting, ask yourself, “Would I be okay with everyone
 RESPONSIBILITY     seeing this?” Think about how it could affect others before sharing.

                 œ œBe kind: Treat others online as you would in person. If you wouldn’t say something

                    face-to-face, don’t say it online. Online communication can be tricky because
                    we can’t hear tone of voice or see facial expressions. Always be respectful, as
                    words can hurt even if unintentional. Follow the given tips:

                    ƒ œCelebrate others with positive comments like, Great job! or Well done!.

                    ƒ œIf you see bullying, report it to an adult or website administrator.
                 œ œStay safe: Be careful about what personal information you share. Never share

                    your full name, home address, phone number, school details or passwords. Use
                    privacy settings on websites to protect your details. Always ask a trusted adult
                    before sharing any personal information online.

                 œ œBe careful with online friends: While the internet lets us make friends worldwide,
                    remember  that  not everyone  online is who they  say they  are. Never  share

                    personal details with someone you haven’t met in person. Follow the given tips:

                    ƒ œAlways tell an adult if someone makes you uncomfortable.
                    ƒ œIf meeting someone in person, do so in a public place with a trusted adult.

                 œ œAvoid cyberbullying: Cyberbullying involves using the
                    internet to hurt others, like spreading rumours, sending                      fact bits
                    hurtful messages  or excluding  someone.  Stand  up                         70% of students
