Key AI Terms Human vs Machine Intelligence
AI in Action: From Input to Smart Output Training and Learning
Real-Life Examples of AI Terms Using AI Vocabulary Correctly
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way you live and interact with the world.
From voice assistants like Siri and Alexa to self-driving cars, AI is becoming a part
of everyday life. In this chapter, you will explore some of the basic terms used in
AI, such as machine learning, algorithms and neural networks etc. You will also
learn about how machines process information, the difference between human and
machine intelligence and how AI is used in real-life examples.
KEY AI TERMS
In the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), there are several
important terms that help understand how machines work
and make decisions. Let's explore some of these key terms:
Data: It is the raw facts and figures, unorganised information that you collect
from your surroundings. It can include numbers, words, pictures or sounds. On its
own, data does not always make sense, but when it is organised and processed, it
becomes meaningful and useful for making decisions. It can be numbers, words,
pictures or even sounds. For example, Marks scored by students: 45, 60, 75, 80.
Artificial Intelligence (AI): This is the ability of machines or computers to
perform tasks that would normally require human intelligence. These tasks
include things like decision-making, problem-solving, learning from experience
and understanding language. AI is used in things like smart speakers, self-driving
cars and games. It works by using lots of data to learn and improve, making
tasks faster and easier.
