Priya is a student who regularly visits her school library. She notices several problems while using the
library. Many students find it difficult to locate books because they are not arranged properly or are
misplaced. Sometimes, books that are shown as “available” are actually missing from the shelves. In
addition, the librarian spends a lot of time maintaining records of issued and returned books manually.
Priya also observes that some students forget to return books on time, which creates inconvenience
for others who are waiting for the same books. There is no proper system to recommend books
based on students’ interests, and searching for books takes a lot of time.
To solve these problems, Priya decides to design an AI-based Smart Library System. This system will
help in tracking books, managing records automatically, and making it easier for students to search
and borrow books efficiently.
