possible only in science fiction movies and futuristic stories. However, this vision has now become
a reality with the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Artificial Intelligence is no longer limited
to imagination; it has become an important part of modern technology and everyday life.
Artificial Intelligence is a branch of computer
science that focuses on developing machines
and computer systems capable of performing
tasks that usually require human intelligence.
These tasks include analysing large amounts
of data, recognising patterns, understanding
language, predicting future outcomes, solving
complex problems and making informed
decisions. Unlike traditional computer programs
that follow fixed instructions, AI systems are designed to learn from past experiences and improve
their performance over time. This ability to learn and adapt makes AI systems more efficient,
accurate and intelligent.
In simple terms, Artificial Intelligence refers to human-made intelligence that allows machines
to think, learn and behave in a smart manner. Artificial Intelligence is transforming industries
and changing the way people live and work. It is being widely used in areas such as education,
healthcare, transportation, banking, entertainment and business. For example, AI helps doctors
diagnose diseases, supports teachers in personalised learning, improves traffic management
and enhances customer service through chatbots. As technology continues to advance, AI is
becoming an essential part of modern life and is expected to play an even more significant role
in the future.
