ACTIONS OF A MOUSE


                  Mouse actions are the things we do with the mouse, like clicking on icons,

                  moving the pointer around the screen and scrolling up and down.


                  CLICK OR LEFT-CLICK                                                  click

                  Pressing  and releasing  the  left button once  is
                  called a left-click. A left-click is used for selecting

                  an item.

                  RIGHT–CLICK

                  Pressing  and  releasing  the  right  button                      click

                  once is called a right-click. It displays a list
                  of options for the selected item also called
                  a pop-up or shortcut menu.


                  DOUBLE-CLICK                                               Right-Click


                  Pressing and releasing the left button twice quickly is called a double-click. A
                  double-click opens the selected item.

                  DRAG AND DROP


                  To drag means moving the mouse while keeping the mouse button pressed. It
                  is used to move an item to another location on the computer screen.


                  To drop means to release the mouse button.
