COMPONENTS OF A WORD WINDOW
Word has a user-friendly interface comprising different components that help
in creating, editing and formatting documents easily. Let us explore the main
parts of the Word window:
Quick Access Toolbar contains Title Bar shows the
buttons for Save, Undo, Redo. document's name.
Ribbon contains sets of tabs Vertical Scroll Bar is
with different groups of tools. used to move up or
down in the document.
Document Area is the
white space to type.
Status Bar shows the page number, word Horizontal Scroll Bar is used to
count, language, View buttons and Zoom Slider. move left or right in the document.
