Just like cars need roads, electricity needs a circuit to travel and help things work,
like lighting up a bulb or making a toy move.

Important parts of a simple circuit:

Battery: It gives power to the circuit so that the electricity can flow and make

things work, like lighting up a bulb.
Wire: It connects the battery, bulb and other parts of the circuit so that electricity

can travel from one part to another.
Bulb: It gets power from the battery and when the circuit is complete, the bulb

                     turns on and gives light.
Switch: It lets the electricity flow through the circuit, making the bulb light up.
