and folders help in organising data efficiently.
WHAT IS A FILE?

application it belongs to. a file name including its folder
path cannot exceed 255
For example, Holiday.jpg: Holiday is the name and characters.
.jpg is the extension, which tells you it’s a picture file.
WHAT IS A FOLDER?
A folder is a place on the computer used to keep files together. It helps in organising
files and finding things quickly. Folders can also contain other folders, called
subfolders, to arrange files in a better way.
