As you already know, Sketchpad is a fun and easy-to-use online drawing tool where
you can bring your ideas to life. In your previous class, you learnt how to draw

shapes and add text. Now, let’s explore advanced tools like Layers, Clipart and
                 the Mirror Brush.

To open Sketchpad, simply type https://sketch.io/sketchpad-v5.1/ into your web

browser’s address bar and press the Enter key.

                        LAYERS

Layers are like clear, plastic sheets stacked one on top of the other in a drawing.

Each layer holds a different part of your artwork which help you keep your drawing
                 neat and organised.

                 UNDERSTANDING THE LAYERS PANEL

The Layers Panel in Sketchpad helps

control artwork. Layers can be dragged

                                                                                     once, press and hold the
position (z-position) in the scene. Shift key.

Each layer will show two important icons:

Eyeball icon: This is used to show or hide a layer. It has two modes:

 Visible Eyeball icon: It means the layer is shown in your artwork.

 Crossed-out Eyeball icon: The layer is hidden but still exists and can be
                         shown again.

Hamburger icon: When this icon is clicked, a context menu opens. The
options available in the context menu are as follows:

 Send to Back: Moves the layer behind others.

 Send to Front: Moves the layer slightly in front of another.
