BRIDGE BACK
1. Do you use stepwise thinking when completing tasks?
2. Discuss the benefits of stepwise thinking in completing tasks efficiently.
Visual processing is how the brain understands and interprets what you see. When
you look at something, your eyes send information to your brain. The brain then
figures out what that thing is. For example, when you see a dog, your brain tells you,
“That’s a dog!”.
INTERPRETING VISUAL CODES AND SYMBOLS
Every day, you see symbols or pictures that tell you something without words. These
are called visual codes. For example, a green traffic light means go, a red light
means stop and a yellow light means wait.
Let’s understand this with the help of the given icons:
This icon represents the Recycle Bin. It shows where the deleted items go.
This icon represents the Word application. It opens the Word program.
ACTIVITY-1
Circle all file icons, underline all folders and draw a box over application icons.
