BORDERS AND SHADING


                 Borders and shading enhance the visual appeal of text and paragraphs, making
                 them more eye-catching.


                 PARAGRAPH BORDER

                 A paragraph border in Word adds a line around a paragraph or a block of text to

                 highlight or separate it visually. To apply a border to the selected text, follow the given
                 steps:


                       2     Click on the Design tab.            3     Click on the Page Borders.


















                                                                                1     Select the text or paragraph.






                   4     Click on the Borders
                                        tab.
                                                                                                6     Choose a style,
                                                                                                color and width.
                       5     Choose a border
                                    setting.




                                                                                              7     Choose Apply to:
                                                                                             Paragraph option.
                         8     Click on the OK button.






                 PAGE BORDER

                 A page border is a decorative line or design that frames the entire page outside

                 the margins.
