Applying Shadow Effect in a Shape
A shadow can be added behind a shape to create a 3D effect or to make it stand
out on the slide. To apply a shadow effect to a shape, follow the given steps:
2 Click on the Shape Format tab.

1 Select the shape.
4 Select the desired option.
INSERTING SMARTART GRAPHICS
SmartArt is a visual tool that uses graphics, lists and designs with text to present
information and ideas. It helps make complex data easier to understand and more
engaging. To insert SmartArt graphics, follow the given steps:
1 Click on the Insert tab. 2 Click on the SmartArt option.
5 Click inside the Text
box to insert the text.
3 Select a category and
a suitable layout.
4 Click on the OK button.
