In the previous chapter, you learnt that adding graphical objects can make a
presentation more engaging and appealing. This chapter introduces advanced
features such as media files (audio and video), tables and master slides, which can
help present ideas in a more lively and effective way.
INSERTING AUDIO
To make a presentation more effective and lively, you can add audio. PowerPoint
allows you to add audio files from your computer or record voice directly within the
presentation. To insert an audio file, follow the given steps:
2 Click on the Insert tab. 3 Click on the Audio drop-down arrow.
4 Click on the Audio on My PC option.
1 Select the slide in which
you want to add audio.
6 Select the desired audio file.
5 Browse the location where
the audio file is stored.
7 Click on the Insert button.
