                         USING DATA VALIDATION

Data validation is used to restrict users from entering specific values in a cell or range of cells. It
helps prevent incorrect data entries and ensures that the data entered in Excel is accurate.

For example, if you want to restrict entries in the Quantity column to only numbers between 1
and 30, you can apply Data Validation to prevent users from entering values outside this range.
To apply Data Validation, follow these steps:

2 Click on the Data tab.

                                                                                                  3 Click on the Data
                                                                                                 Validation option.
                      1 Select the column header
where you want to apply data
                                     validation.
