APPLYING FILTERS AND EFFECTS

Filters and effects quickly change the look of your image, adjusting aspects like brightness and
contrast for a new style. Here’s how to apply them:

FILTERS
Filters are special pre-made features that change the overall look of your image. They adjust
things like the brightness, colours and contrast. When you apply a filter, it quickly changes your
image to give it a new style or mood.

To apply a filter to an image, follow the given steps:

1 Select the desired filter
from the Filters section.

2 Adjust the Intensity slider to control the filter’s strength,
moving it left to decrease or right to increase the effect.

EFFECTS
Effects are tools in Canva that give you control over how your image looks. You can add shadows,
blur parts of the image, sharpen the main subject with Auto Focus or smoothen skin with Face

Retouch. Effects help make your image unique and eye-catching.
