BRIDGE BACK
                    1. Have you ever noticed how YouTube or Netflix recommends videos or shows you might like?

                    2. When you check the Weather application or Google Maps, how do you think it knows the latest
                        temperature or the fastest route?

We live in a world where everything is connected by data. Every time we watch a video, search for
information online or even walk with a fitness tracker, data is being collected and used to make
                  our experience smarter and faster.

From school reports to shopping apps, from Google Maps to hospitals—Data Science is everywhere.
Let’s explore how it all works.

                         WHAT IS DATA SCIENCE?

Data Science is a field that involves extracting meaningful
insights and information from a large amount of raw
data. It uses tools, techniques and algorithms to analyse
and interpret data to help in decision-making, predictions
                  and solving complex problems.

Data Science helps us to find patterns, trends and
                  relationships in data.

                         WHAT IS DATA?

Data refers to raw facts or figures collected for analysis.
It can be in the form of numbers, images, text or sound.
To convert raw data into useful information, it needs to
                  be processed.
Data processing includes cleaning, organising and
analysing data so that it can be interpreted into
meaningful information and used to make decisions
                  or solve problems.

In 2019, the total amount of data in the world was estimated to be 40 zettabytes.
