ACCESSING VEXCODE VR
Accessing VEXcode VR is simple and quick. All you need is a computer or tablet with Internet
access. The steps to access VEXcode VR are as follows:
1 Open the Web browser.
2 Type the URL of the VEXcode
VR https://vr.vex.com/ in the
address bar and press the
Enter key.
3 Click on the Students Get Started
button in the welcome screen.
After selecting the student mode, a pop up window
will appear asking whether you would like to take a
tour the VEXcode VR interface. Click Next to start the VEXcode VR supports 2 main coding
tour or Close to dismiss the window.

NAVIGATING THE INTERFACE
VEXcode VR simplifies learning programming and robotics. Its intuitive interface provides all the tools
needed to control a virtual robot. Let’s explore the interface to create and run our own programs.
The components of the interface of VEXcode VR are as follows:
1. Language button: This setting allows the selection of the language for the VEXcode VR interface.
2. File menu: This menu allows you to manage your projects. It typically contains the New, Open,
Save, Save As, About, Logic with Code options.
3. Tools menu: This menu offers quick access to various settings and features to configure the
VEXcode VR environment, including options like Theme, Keyboard Shortcuts, Speech Settings
and API Documentation.
4. TUTORIALS button: This offers a list of helpful guides and tutorials for beginners and teaches
how to use VEXcode VR and create different projects.
5. LEARN button: It provides learning resources and lessons to help users understand
programming concepts, robot functionality and simulation controls.
6. UNDO/REDO button: The UNDO button reverts the last action you made, while the REDO
button reverses the undo action, restoring the previous change.
7. SELECT PLAYGROUND button: This button allows the selection of the virtual environment
(playground) where the robot will perform its actions.
