Dashboard Toggle button: This button shows or hides the Dashboard Panel button.
Dashboard Panel button: This panel displays the robot’s real-time sensor data, such as its
Heading and Location (X, Y coordinates).
Playground display area: This is the main view where the virtual robot performs its tasks in
a selected environment (e.g., a grid map or maze), visually demonstrating the results of your
code.
Start/Stop button: This button allows you to start or stop the project and the Playground
environment.
Reset button: It stops the current program execution and returns the robot to its starting
position.
Playground timer: The timer, located at the lower
left, tracks project runtime and starts automatically.
It stops when the user resets or stops it.

Camera views: These options allow you to change the
view of the environment, helping you see the robot’s 200 mm × 200 mm per square.

TYPES OF BLOCKS IN VEXCODE VR
VEXcode VR employs a block-based programming system. The blocks are organised into
categories, each containing commands for specific robot operations or programming functions.
A brief description of each category is provided below:
Drivetrain blocks: These blocks control the VR Robot’s movement and direction. Using the
built-in drivetrain with motors and a Gyro sensor, they enable the robot to move, turn or stop
as needed.
