Identifying an Unsafe Website
An unsafe website is like a strange shop outside the park. It might look bright
and interesting, but may not be safe to go in.
Unsafe websites want to steal your personal information. We must stay away
from these websites.
Unsafe websites can be recognised by the following:
Starts with http:// The websites start with http://
are less safe than those that
starts with https://.
Asks for secrets It asks for your full name, phone number, home
address or your secret password to play a game.
NEVER TELL THEM!
Has lots of odd The words look mixed
words up or the pictures are
blurry. It looks messy
and badly made.
Promises free gifts It says, “Click here to get a free new video game!”
They are trying to trick you.
