A password is a secret lock for your things online. It should be easy for you to remember,
hard for others to guess. Use the following formula to create a strong password:
Thing 1 (favourite colour) + Thing 2 (favourite animal) + Number (lucky number) + Symbol
(any symbol like: @, #, $, %). Example: Bluecat4$
Now, do the following:
Create & Decorate: Write your own password on a paper strip and draw your
favourite animal around it and colour it with your favourite colour.
Share & Rules: Passwords are private. Only share with parents.
Note: Students can show their drawing and say, I made a strong password! but never
read the password aloud.
Keep your strip as a reminder of how to build a strong password with your parents help.
Visit websites your parents or DO NOT type your name, school or
teacher tell you to use. phone number on any website.
Look for the lock sign ( ) before DO NOT click on bright, flashy
opening a website. buttons that look strange.
Close the page if something feels DO NOT believe websites that offer
odd or scary. free gifts or prizes.
Tell a trusted adult if a pop-up DO NOT share your password with

Use strong passwords with letters, DO NOT stay on websites that look
numbers and symbols. messy or have wrong spellings.
