Safe Clicking Rules: Stop, Look and Think

Imagine you are sitting at your computer, excited to explore
new things. You see a word in bright colour that says "Click

here for more!" You click on it and a new page opens up with
lots of pictures and fun information. That was a link.

While you are looking at the page, suddenly a little box pops
up on the screen. It asks, "Do you want to sign up for a special

deal?" You did not ask for it and it seems a bit surprising.
That is called a pop-up.
