Riaan, a Class 3 student, loved playing on his tablet after school. His two best friends,
Tara and Neil, came over for a playdate. They all sat on the sofa excitedly.
“Look! I found a new racing game!” Riaan said proudly.
“Where did you get it?” Tara asked.
“From a website that popped up during a cartoon video,”
Riaan replied. “It said FREE game!”
As soon as they opened the game, a bright message
appeared:
Without thinking, Riaan clicked BUY. The tablet beeped,
the screen blinked, and the tablet became slow. Then
came another message:
“Allow Location?”
Riaan clicked Allow because he wanted to keep playing.

The golden button was huge, shiny, and blinking.
All three children gasped. Neil whispered, “Do you think this is real?”
Tara said, “A robot for free? That sounds strange.”
However, Riaan was excited. “Let us just click it once!”
Before anyone could stop him, he tapped the glowing Golden Button.
At first nothing happened. Then—
The screen turned black.
A loud BEEP! sound played.
Another message covered the whole tablet:
“ERROR! Device blocked. Contact support.
