Reasons Behind Creating Fake Profiles

There are various reasons why someone might create a fake profile. Some of these
reasons are harmless, while others can be dangerous. Some common reasons are:

For privacy: Some people do not want others to know
their real identity. They may create an account using

a nickname or a different picture only to protect their
personal information.

For fun or entertainment: People sometimes use

fake profiles to role-play as fictional characters from
stories, films or games. Although this might seem
harmless, it can become confusing or unsafe if they

interact with others dishonestly.

To trick or mislead others: Some fake profiles are
created to spread false information, pretend to be
someone else, or make others believe something

untrue.

LOSER UGLY
For cyberbullying: A person may create a fake

profile to send unkind messages without revealing STUPID
who they really are. This behaviour can hurt others IDIOT
and is considered cyberbullying.
