There are several ways to be kind in the digital world:
Give compliments: Using kind and encouraging
words online makes people feel valued and
happy. Complimenting others’ posts or
achievements spreads positivity and helps create
a friendly, supportive environment instead of
laughing at mistakes.
Ask before sharing: Always get permission before
posting someone’s photo online. Respecting others’

privacy shows consideration and builds trust. It
ensures people feel safe and respected, preventing
embarrassment or harm that might come from sharing
images without their consent.
Support others: Support others online by speaking
up when you see unkind behaviour. Comfort the
person being targeted, encourage them to block
the bully and save messages and always tell a
trusted adult.
Enjoy activities together: Enjoying activities online
with friends, such as games or virtual films,
strengthens friendships and promotes happiness.
Sharing fun moments encourages kindness,
teamwork and positive interaction instead of
focusing on negative or hurtful behaviour.
Share positivity: Posting inspiring or encouraging
messages online spreads positivity. Motivational
content can lift someone’s spirits, offer support
and create a friendly atmosphere, helping to make
the Internet a more caring and uplifting place for
everyone.
