KEEPING YOUR DATA SAFE
Keeping your data safe means protecting your personal information, like your name,
photos, and address. Using the Internet can be fun and helpful, but it is important to
follow good habits to stay safe. Some simple rules to follow:
Keep your passwords secret: Your passwords are like
the keys to your online world. Never share them with
friends or strangers. Always create strong passwords
with letters, numbers and symbols.
Think before you click: Not everything on the Internet is
safe. Before clicking on links, ads or pop-ups, stop and
think if it could be dangerous.
Be kind online: Treat others online the same way
you would in real life. Using polite words and
respect in all messages.
Take breaks from screens: Spending too much time
online can be tiring. Take regular breaks, play outside
or read a book to rest your eyes and body.
Ask permission: Always ask your parents or
teachers before downloading apps, games
or sharing photos online. This helps you avoid
unsafe content.
