Every day, we use computers, tablets, and mobile phones to learn, play games,
watch videos and talk to friends. When we use these devices, we often share small
pieces of information about ourselves.
Data safety means keeping your personal information protected from people who
should not see it. It also means using the Internet wisely and making good choices.
Learning about data safety helps you stay safe while exploring the digital world.
Consent and Privacy
To be the master of your digital secrets, you need to understand two powerful words:
Consent and Privacy Settings. Let us understand these terms one by one.
Consent
Consent means asking before you do something. Always ask an adult or a friend
before taking their photo, sharing their things or using their information. If they say
“no”, respect it. Asking permission keeps everyone safe and happy.
