Ask your family to agree on one Saturday or Sunday afternoon (for 3 hours) to be completely
screen-free. Before the challenge starts, fill in the table below. Plan exactly what fun, exciting,
screen-free activity you will do instead of your usual online activity. After the time is over, circle
the activity that was the most fun.

THE FEELINGS DANGER
The feeling danger happens when spending too much time on screens makes us
feel grumpy, sad, frustrated or restless. Relying too much on screens for happiness
can make children fidgety, easily annoyed and less able to manage emotions. Some
ways too much screen time can affect your feelings are as follows:
Feeling grumpy or irritated: This means you get annoyed
easily or feel upset about little things. Too much screen
time can make your brain tired and make these feelings
stronger.
