Sharing too much can lead to misunderstandings or negative consequences
in both your personal and professional life, potentially damaging your

                     reputation.

The more information you share, the more likely you are to be targeted by online
scams or intrusive advertisements tailored to your preferences.

Publicly sharing personal details or experiences can expose you to cyberbullying,

with others using that information to attack or ridicule you.

THE HIDDEN DANGERS OF SHARING TOO MUCH

Lucy loved to share everything online. Whether it was her latest holiday photos,

what she had for lunch or where she was going, she posted it all on her social media
accounts. Her friends loved seeing her updates and Lucy enjoyed the attention and
comments she received. It felt good to share her life so openly.

One afternoon, Lucy posted a photo of her new phone, clearly showing her home
address on a delivery package in the background. She didn’t think twice about it,
as it was just a harmless photo. However, soon after, she started receiving strange

messages from unknown accounts, asking about her phone and offering special
                  deals for gadgets.

A week later, Lucy received a call from an unknown number claiming to be from

her bank, asking her to confirm her details for a security check. Confused, she gave
some basic information, thinking it was just a routine call. Later, she realised that her
social media posts could have been used by scammers to piece together information

about her life and she might have unwittingly shared more than she realised.

Based on the above case, answer the following questions:

                  1. What should Lucy have done before posting the photo?

                  2. Why did Lucy receive strange messages from unknown accounts?
