Ransomware: Ransomware locks files on a
computer or phone. The hacker then asks for
money to unlock them.
Denial of Service (DoS): This attack happens
when hackers send too many requests to a
website at the same time. The website becomes
very slow or stops working for everyone.
Password Cracking: This happens when
hackers try many passwords until they
find the correct one. Weak and simple
passwords are easy to crack.
Mobile Hacking: Mobile hacking targets
smartphones. It can happen through
unsafe apps, links or messages and may
steal photos, contacts or messages.
Public Wi-Fi Hacking: Using open public
Wi-Fi can be unsafe. Hackers may try to see
information sent from the device, such as
passwords or messages.
Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) Attack: In
this attack, a hacker secretly listens to
messages sent between two people or a
device and a website. This often happens
on unsafe public Wi-Fi.
