MALWARE
Malware, short for malicious software, is any type
of software that is designed to harm your computer,
phone or other devices. It is created by hackers or
cybercriminals to damage or steal your data. Malware
can come in many forms, including viruses, worms,
spyware and ransomware.
Malware works by infecting your device, often without
you realising. Once it's on your device, it can do many
harmful things. It can slow down your system, steal
personal information or even make your device crash. Some types of malware spread by
themselves. Others need you to click on a link or open an infected file to start.
How Malware Can Harm Your System?
Malware can cause several problems for your device:
Slows down your system: It can make your computer or phone run much slower.
Steals personal information: Malware can take your private details, like passwords and bank
information.
Crashes your device: It can cause your device to stop working or crash.
